This album is a struggle for Shania Twain after being sentenced to suffer from dysphonia, Shania has a voice disorder caused by the involuntary movement of one or more muscles in the larynx or vocal cords. As a result, Shania Twain's voice was disturbed, making a hoarse voice, reported by FoxNews, Saturday (25/2/2017). "It seems that my illness happened because I was too stressed," said Shania Twain, starting her story.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Shania Twain also revealed the contents of the album was an outpouring of her heart after the divorce. For Shania Twain, her divorce from Robert Lange in 2010 was the worst thing for her.

"Honestly, divorce is something that never crossed my mind. This album contains all my feelings," said Shania Twain.
