NOT JUST A GIRL (2022), Shania Twain's Journey to Become a Country Singer

The documentary film about the career of the beautiful singer Shania Twain, Not Just a Girl has arrived on streaming services on July 26, 2022.

The first trailer for the documentary Not Just a Girl was released Wednesday (20/7/2022). The Not Just A Girl trailer features music video clips, concert footage and new interview documentation all centered around the career of the legendary Canadian Country musician. 

Not Just a Girl is taken from the title of Shania Twain's new song, tells the story of the beginning of her journey to become a singer. From the beginning, Shania lived a modest economy in Timmins, Ontario, then got the opportunity to sign a contract with a label in Nashville. 

In There, Shania met future producer and husband Robert "Mutt" Lange. Not Just a Girl, directed by Joss Crowley. Shows a number of footage of recording sessions in the studio from throughout her career and chronicles all the ups and downs of her life journey including her love affairs. 

Shania Twain separated from husband Robert Lange in 2008. She then remarried to Frédéric Thiébaud three years later with the release of her six
th album. 

On this album, she struggled to sing like before because Shania Twain was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2003. The documentary featured several stars including Lionel Richie, Avril Lavigne, Kelsea Ballerini, Diplo, and Orville Peck who gave testimony about the “From This Moment On” singer. 

Not Just a Girl will begin streaming on July 26, 2022, the day Shania Twain releases a digital compilation album titled Not Just a Girl (The Highlights). Source - here
